QC photos are your only chance to catch problems before items are shipped internationally. Once a package leaves the warehouse, returns are difficult or impossible. This guide provides a comprehensive checklist for every major category, ensuring you inspect the right details before approving shipping.
General QC Principles
Before diving into category-specific checks, understand these general principles that apply to every item.

| Heel tab | Height and embroidery alignment must be correct. |
| Midsole paint | Consistent color, no bleeding or uneven lines. |
| Outsole pattern | Depth and texture should match retail reference. |
| Stitching | Even and consistent. No loose threads or glue stains. |
| Insole branding | Text placement and quality should be accurate. |
Clothing QC Checklist
Clothing items require different checks depending on the category. Use these category-specific points for hoodies, t-shirts, jackets, and pants.
Hoodies & Sweaters
Check embroidery spacing, fabric weight, drawstring quality, and inside label accuracy. Good hoodies should be 400gsm+.
T-Shirts
Verify print method, collar ribbing thickness, print placement, and blank fabric quality. Screen prints should not be DTG.
Jackets
Inspect hardware branding, zipper smoothness, fill power for puffers, and seam sealing. Check interior lining.
Pants & Shorts
Check button and rivet branding, inseam measurements, chain stitching, and pocket construction quality.
Accessories QC Checklist
- Headwear: Check embroidery stitch density, panel shape, and closure hardware.
- Bags: Inspect material quality, stitching consistency, and hardware branding.
- Belts: Verify hardware finish and branding accuracy.
- Sunglasses: Check lens quality, frame construction, and hinge smoothness.

When to Request Returns
Not every flaw is worth a return. Learn to distinguish between acceptable minor issues and deal-breaking defects.
Tip: Return items only for major flaws that are visible when worn or used. Minor imperfections in hidden areas are generally acceptable. Consider whether the flaw would be noticed in normal use.
- Return for: Major color inaccuracies, obvious shape defects, wrong size, missing parts, or significant damage.
- Accept for: Minor stitching irregularities, slight color variations, small glue marks in hidden areas, or packaging imperfections.
- Always check the seller's return policy before ordering. Some sellers do not accept returns.
